I'm Only Human After All (Worldview Part 7)

"Identity amnesia leads to us humans desperately seeking meaning and identity everywhere else. Some of us think that identity lies at the top of the career ladder. Some of us think it lies on the top of a heap of riches and possessions. Some of us try to find it in human relationships. Some of us think that by adding body parts or removing body parts we will finally discover ourselves. Some get attached to a political or social cause. Some seek the path of pleasure. It all comes up empty. If we really want to know who we really are, if we really want to discover ourselves, then we must turn to One who made us for the answers." Reach the Isles and Foundation Matters have partnered together to create a series of short worldview videos designed to equip believers as they seek to engage no-god worldviews. 1. The first video was an introduction into understanding what a worldview is. 2. The second video explains what a world view must have and cannot have. 3. The third video describes the Christian Worldview. 4. The fourth video considered the no-god worldviews. 5. The fifth video speaks about the motive behind unbelief. 6. The sixth video explores where no-god worldview holders seek to find meaning and purpose. 7. This seventh video looks at where we find and seek to find our identity as humans. Moral Absolute(ly not)s (Worldview Part 8)

The question isn’t just "where does our morality come from?” but rather “how do we know our morality is right?” Either we live in a world of moral absolutes or we don’t. If we don’t, if it is purely subjective - then some people think women should be treated as equals and some don't. Some people like Coke and some prefer Lemonade. Some think abortion is fine and some don't. Some people add milk and sugar to their tea. If we do live in a world of moral absolutes - then we need something or someone outside of ourselves, someone or thing higher than society, further back than history and unchanging. An Absolute Morality Giver. The sixth video explores where no-god worldview holders seek to find meaning and purpose. 7. The seventh video looks at where we find and seek to find our identity as humans. 8. This eighth video investigates where we attempt to get our morality from in a world without moral absolutes.
